Last updated: 5/08/2026
Actus Consulting ABN : 67 666 371 704 trading as Pioneer Digi ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and — importantly — the consent standards we apply before we ever contact you or act on your behalf.
1. Our consent commitment
Before anything else: we will not market to you, send you communications, or take any action on your behalf without your explicit, informed consent.
Specifically:
- We will not send you marketing emails, SMS, or other communications unless you have expressly opted in.
- We will not place, launch, or modify any advertising campaign, list your business, publish content, or take any other action affecting you or your business without your prior written or verbal confirmation.
- Where we use AI-powered chat or voice agents on your behalf, those agents will only engage with your leads or customers in ways you have specifically authorised, and will not be deployed to new channels, scripts, or use cases without your sign-off.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Once withdrawn, we will cease the relevant activity as soon as reasonably practicable.
This consent standard applies whether you are a client, a prospective client, or a lead generated through one of our campaigns.
2. What personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details (name, email, phone number, business name, address)
- Information you provide through enquiry forms, quote requests, or consultations
- Business information relevant to campaign delivery (industry, target audience, ad accounts, website access)
- Communications between you and us (emails, call recordings, chat transcripts)
- Technical information from our website (IP address, device/browser type, pages visited) via cookies and analytics tools
- For leads generated on behalf of clients: name, contact details, and enquiry information submitted through ad campaigns, landing pages, or AI chat/voice interactions
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health, financial hardship, or similar categories under the Privacy Act) unless it is voluntarily provided and directly relevant to the service requested, and only with your explicit consent.
3. How we collect information
We collect personal information:
- Directly from you, when you contact us, request a quote, or engage our services
- Through our website and enquiry forms
- Through advertising campaigns and landing pages we manage (for clients' leads)
- Through AI chat or voice agent interactions, where deployed with consent as described above
- From publicly available sources, where reasonably necessary to assess a business opportunity
4. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide quotes
- Deliver contracted services (SEO, paid advertising management, email marketing, AI chat/voice agent deployment)
- Report on campaign performance to clients
- Improve our services and website
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations
We will only use your information for direct marketing purposes (e.g. promotional emails, follow-ups, newsletters) where you have given express consent, consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 7 and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing communication will include a clear, functioning unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism, and we will action opt-out requests promptly.
If we use AI voice agents to make outbound calls, we operate in accordance with the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth) and will not contact numbers listed on the Do Not Call Register except where an applicable exemption (e.g. existing business relationship with consent) applies.
5. Disclosure of information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to:
- Third-party platforms necessary to deliver services (e.g. Google, Meta, email marketing platforms, AI/automation providers)
- Contractors or service providers who assist us, bound by confidentiality obligations
- Regulatory or law enforcement bodies where required by law
Some service providers we use may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, as required by APP 8.
6. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including restricted access controls and secure storage of client and lead data.
7. Access, correction, and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. To do so, or to raise a privacy concern or complaint, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): Website: www.oaic.gov.au
